Welcome to Biddara, the premier luxury marketplace connecting celebrities, donors, bidders, and verified charities. By accessing or using our platform, mobile applications, or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

1. Account Roles & Eligibility

Biddara supports three main account roles, each subject to specific verification requirements:

  • Buyers & Bidders: Must be at least 18 years of age. High-value auctions may require identity verification (KYC) before placing bids.
  • Donors (Celebrities & Public Figures): Account verification and proof of ownership or authorization for donated items/experiences are required prior to listing creation.
  • Charities & Non-Profits: Must provide proof of official legal non-profit registration and bank details for automated payout processing.

2. Bidding, Auctions & Financial Commitments

  • Binding Bids: All bids placed on Biddara are legal, binding commitments to purchase the item or experience at the bid price if you are the winning bidder.
  • Payment Processing: Winning bids are charged automatically or settled via secure Stripe integration within the designated timeframe.
  • Charity Fund Split: Funds raised from auctions (minus verified platform administrative and transaction processing fees) are remitted directly to the designated beneficiary charity.

3. Provenance & Authenticity

  • Biddara collaborates with donors to issue Certificates of Authenticity for physical items and validated access credentials for exclusive experiences.
  • Misrepresenting item origin or authenticity is strictly prohibited and results in immediate account termination.

4. Code of Conduct & Intellectual Property

  • Users must not engage in bid manipulation, shill bidding, anti-competitive behavior, or fraud.
  • All intellectual property, logos, trademarks, and branding on Biddara are the property of Biddara or its respective content licensors.

5. Limitation of Liability & Governing Law

Biddara provides the platform on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Biddara shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from platform usage. These Terms are governed by applicable local and international commercial laws.
